Feb 10, 2024 · Low boost wont hurt much on a bbc in that range but you typically wont operate there based on gearing and most combos. Most will be in the 6-7k rpm range after tbrake release. Leaving on 5-10 you may get good boost in the 5000-6000 rpm area so be careful there. Tuning timing there is also for traction after the leave.
E50 has basically has the same rating on the anti knock index as e85. It's like .1 octane difference between e50 and e85. Its not octane as much as cylinder cooling with additional fuel that make the higher percentages slightly beneficial. I send power to the switch, the switch to the relay, I use an output from the Holley (that is set to > X driveshaft speed) to the ground side of the relay. They are all ATF yet have different additive packages to meet different standards set by the manufacture of the transmission.
