It was working fine. When I turned the switch to 4 low while in neutral, the light on the dash just blinked rapidly. It wouldn't switch to 4 low.

Once it engages, the light will stop blinking. Then you can stop put the truck in neutral and then puch the 4LO button. The truck will not go into 4LO without first being in 4HI.
