The problem occurred again today. Here's what I've done so far: 1. Changed cabin air filter. 2. Removed the blower motor and verified there was no debris or anything obstructing the fan from moving. 3. While holding the blower motor so I could visually see the fan, I plugged it back into the power connector.This is most likely due to the Refrigerant being very low, and there is a a pressure sensor in the A/C system that detect the low pressure due to low refrigerant, and stops the Compressor from engaging. A GOOD THING -- this has probably saved your compressor from damage when running with low refrigerant levels.

I was having the problem a couple months ago but it wasn’t hot enough outside for me to really notice. I’m currently at 37 months and 17,000 miles.
