Ordered (2) V4 plates for (2) 43x MOS's a week ago. First plate was perfect. Second plate had light showing through between optic and filler plate near front lugs. They sent out 2nd replacement plate, same issue. 3rd replacement plate was sent out and said they would hand test to make sure it was a clean fit.

On both my 48 and 42, the rear sight notch is so narrow that there's almost no daylight on either side of the front sight.To me, the Shield is more towards the sub compact size to where the 43x is a little toward the compact size. The 43x seems like a smaller version of a Glock 19. I really like the 43x as it fits my hand really well. I do like to carry the 43x as I do not feel under gunned at all with the factory 10 round mags.

If you're thinking about going with the Shield Arms mag release and magazines, I'd recommend not. The PSA micro dagger magazines just came out, are 15 capacity, supposedly more reliable, and don't require a mag release swap-out.
