The flight boarded on time with Business Class passengers boarding first. After a warm greeting from a flight attendant I took my seat. The cabin has an unusual layout. Some rows were 1x2x2 while others were 1x2x1. Aer Lingus flies both the A330-200 and A330-300. This flight was on a 200 and there were 5 rows for a total of 23 seats.

ITA is the successor of Alitalia, and is an airline that has intrigued my endlessly since it launched in October 2021. I came into the flight with low expectations, and was very pleasantly surprised.With that in mind, I ended up using 175,000 Delta SkyMiles (!!) to book this award flight from New York to Paris. While Delta doesn't publish an award chart, on this route it's possible to book a one-way award ticket in business class for as low as 70,000 SkyMiles + $5.60 in taxes and fees — if you can find it.Service was also good. — as is almost always the case with Delta. I love the A330 and the Delta One seats and slept blissfully until landing time skipping breakfast service (we had plenty of time in ATL before our flight home to South Bend). The main point of this flight was good solid hours of sleep and we got that and delivered safely.
