Chrysler 300 remote start not working.

I just recently purchased a 2005 Chrysler 300C with 60,000 miles. I live in Michigan and it is bitter cold out, so I would like to use my remote start. When I purchased the car a few weeks ago, the remote start was working perfectly. Then, it started being very intermittent. If the 3.5 does, then you shouldn't be turning the engine over other than by hand till you're certain. Stand to be corrected if it's not an interference motor.

I guess if you have the horn set to honk on lock or unlock with the remote it will honk when you use the remote start. I don't have the horn set to honk w/locking and it doesn't do it when I remote start it.

I had the remote start and an alarm installed on my '04 F-250 for just under $300. The Valet has a little less range than the Mopar, and does not have the option to stop the engine by pressing again, just a customizable time to cutoff. I'd give the nod to the Mopar between those two, especially on another Chrysler vehicle.
