The newer sportsmans do not and when you change the trans fluid it also lubricates the chain going to the rear. That'll work! It also has a counter balancer reservoir, holds about 100cc, its under the seat. Don't think it has rear diff though. Don't forget coolant, brake fluid and hub fluids.
