Overview. Proving Grounds is a 24 hour event that runs monthly immediately after Conquest. To unlock the event, it requires at least 4 million Galactic Power and tiers require Relic 3+ characters. Each tier includes unique modifiers and rewards 20 shards/blueprints for characters/ships that were previously rewarded in Conquest.

Padme of CLS can do the older ones but for Malgus the only non GL team that really works is Sith trio, Malak and Talon. Padme/CLS can do the easiest events. I've tried Rey, SLKR and JMK (no ult) on the more recent events the last time PG rolled round. For me, Rey is the easiest to complete any given PG with.
Pretty sure this team (Rey, Ben Solo, GK, JKR, CAT) can beat anyone on offense in GAC). In general: Kill DR ASAP so you can use JKL AoE stun. Activate JKL (for me he got killed and got the bonus turn from JKR savior) Get deathmark on Malak (Might work if it's Malgus too since JKR can ignore taunt / mark) You'll take enough turns that you'll be able to remark Malgus continually and he won't use his big attack on you.
After about 30 minutes of attempts, I was able to clear the new tier of proving grounds with SLKR. It is highly RNG dependent, but below is a write up of the strategy I used in case any other SLKR owners are struggling to complete the event. The lineup I used was KRU lead, FOST, Hux, Sith Trooper, and, of course, SLKR. FOST zeta is required.R5 this entire team: CLS-Chewbacca-Han-Chewpio-C3PO. Other than being a core team, being arguably a top 5 non GL team, and a team that shreds a large number of Hard Conquest squads, this team 3*s every Proving Ground challenge to date. R2 is the easiert to plug into another team for sure, but you lose a lot of your initial tm so you may not go first, though swolo can be very fast too and bb8 can also be quite fast.
