I just found the box w/ them in it - the orig. Rem. shipping box. They are Rem. RXP 20 gauge - yellow- for Rem. Unibody shells it reads. I have at least 1,000 of them, in 250 pc. bags - all original.About 15.3 to 15.6 grains of Unique powder, Nobel Sport 688 primers, Claybuster 7/8 oz wads, full of 8.5's or 9's. I have spent a lot of money on training and campaigning Labrador Retrievers for hunting and field competition, then some on important things like waterfowl hunting, booze, and the ladies. STS hull and W-209, 17.0 grs, Longshot, (Hodgdon lists from 16.3 to 18.0 using the WAA20F1), and 1 oz. #7-1/2 shot. Had to use a little bit of wad pressure, but it then fit and crimped very nicely. If you want a 1 oz. load using the STS cases, a Winchester 209 primer and the RXP 20 wad, you can use 16.0 grains of 800X or 16.5 grains of Herco and a Remington 209P primer though. Like. The WAA20 OEM wad also takes up too much room. It really depends on what powder you're using, and consequently the volume, if you're using Unique, you're in trouble, if you're using WSF you have more options. The STS 20 is probably the most difficult hull to find a suitable alternative for, unless you're using a very dense powder.

Oh, & yes, I do take care to keep my hulls dry & if they get water on them, I dry them & wipe them off with an oily rag, but they rust anyway!! I am going to order some of the DR 20 versalite wads. I hear good things about the Orange Duster also.
