Lost sector drop rates.

For all the reasons you mentioned and more, the drop rates, large exotic pool, and RNG-based stat rolls make farming lost sectors absolutely worthless, in my opinion, outside of getting your first roll on an exotic to unlock it. Today I decided to farm a pair of StompEE5 in Concealed void legend lost sector. On a number of over 160 runs, I seem to get an exotic on 12-20 runs with Platinum on every run. I saw a lot of posts saying the drop rate is supposed to be 20%. With all the changes, bungie made it's surprising that they didn't solve this Lost Sector drops issue. I ran todays lost sector 12 times and got only one exotic drop, unluckiest I have ever been. Some people have started keeping track of large amounts of platinums. They're getting well over 30% for legendary.On average, most lost sectors take a minute longer to complete on master difficulty. The extra 10% bump in drop rate you get in masters is worth that extra minute. But, to your point, 'it a waste of your time" - I think this comes down to personal skill and the lost sector itself.

The drop rates from these activities is quite low, listed as 30% for master activities and 25% for legend. Correct me if that has changed but I spent an hour farming for the new stasis …

Drop rate seems to be on the same tier/lower than the Legend Lost Sector, after 5+ runs I've only ever got blues/enhancement cores - Is this intended?
