I have one and I also have a Pro series and without the bobtail on the Pro it gets hung up all the time on my sweatshirt when I get in and out of the car. The melt package, checkering and night sights are the difference in the CDP that made me choose it over the Ultra Carry. They are worth the addition cost to me. They not be to you. I owned an Ultra CDP and it was a great gun. I just bought an Ultra Carry in 9mm and am "tuning it up". It too is a great little pistol. For the money in a carry gun, the CDP is the better buy, unless you can find an Ultra TLE II. Checkering and night sights for under $1k. I have a Pro CDP as well as an Ultra Raptor and Ill be darned if I feel the Ultra shoots better than the Pro. I am sure someone else would problably shoot the Pro better than the Ultra.
