Yes, the cluster (A.K.A. Cab Compartment Node or CCN) is the master node for the LIN bus and the interface between the LIN and CAN buses. Yes. The ESP system that Chrysler uses does have a steering sensor so that it knows the position of the wheel. The use of this sensor is most noticible in the 300C.
