How much hp can a stock 4l80e handle.

From What I heard, 425lbs of torque at the wheels so roughly 500 torque a the crank. 450hp at the wheels so 550 or even 600 HP supposedly. Torque is our weakest point in our engine. As for cost, the 4L80E's are still kinda pricey. You can good good used one's for around $1000, or GM Reman's for about $1400+.*The W58 is a much smoother/friendly trans than the R154. But it can't handle more than 400 rwhp. The R series trans is a heavy duty gear box oriented for high HP applications. Having said that though some people seem to be very 'hard' on transmissions and can spit a T5 all over the ground behind a stock 302. If you think you're in that catagory then don't use the T5.

It started to burn oil since few months ago, but I think it's normal when people abuse a this point. Turbo D16y7/8.

With proper hydraulic modifications during rebuild, about 750-800. Above that it needs a billet input shaft and forward hub. I have a manual control box that plugs into the outside and 12V Ign power to make one fully manual. Easily reversible to computer control.

You could just have that trans freshened up to handle new motor.

They sell an aftermarket headgasket that they say u can run higher boost, but i'm not sure how much higher. People have been able to pull off 10-12psi on stock internals daily driven with very good tuning. However that is REALLY pushing it. Personally, I wouldn't go higher than 8psi daily driven.
