The Outdoor Camera is designed to go into a deep sleep when not active to preserve battery life. It might take a second or so for it to wake up - but definitely shouldn't be as long as 10 seconds! Our dev team pushed out a firmware update that helps with the issue a little bit, targeting a decrease in that wake-up time.

Hi, I bought a power cord for my outdoor camera too. Recently the camera died and the battery is dead too. Shouldn’t the power cord keep it charged?
