Diverse and dedicated teachers enhance the learning experience as long as you research who and register early. Campus is quiet and security is always present. Plenty of opportunities offered on campus. Lots of great professors, as well as some very lackluster professors. The campus itself provides great areas for quiet study. Overall mood and spirit on campus is stale, honestly. Definitely consider other options if you are looking for the "college experience". Reputation.Dr. Garland is such an ANGEL, my favorite prof. She ROUNDED UP! Yes, the wording of exams is tricky, but that seems to be the nature of bio exams. She helps and encourages you through the way. Midterm and exams are fair because they are related to lectures. Worst part is the prof (leduc) who puts up a 50 min bore fest every lecture. If you go to lectures and dont pay attention the whole time, fine and very understandable. Location isn't the greatest as all the major cities are a couple hours away and Gainesville itself is extremely boring and lackluster. Reputation.
