Bill Plein OK - so I started measuring vampire drain with 2023.34.0 but gave up after a few days. The rate of drain was so low I would have had to park the truck for more than a week - which I was not prepared to do. Kinetic Energy = 1/2 * Mass * Velocity Squared. The Velocity Squared part matters a lot at high Velocity, as it is not linear, but exponential. The faster you go, the bigger the bang. Rivian does not have a transmission. Top speed is limited by motor RPM, the fixed ratio reducing gear, and tire diameter.

I think Rivian needs more than two settings on the ride comfort. Soft and stiff are probably not enough. Possibly a 3rd setting like "balanced" could be added to mimic the old soft so that folks can go back if they want. Ride comfort is very subjective so one person might appreciate an extra floaty and soft ride while another might not.
