I replaced the sensor in the back of the engine by the firewall. Heya, I just replaced my crankshaft position sensor, 2007 Nissan frontier, v6 at 240k miles. Its on the passenger side of the engine. Pull off the passenger side front wheel and inner fender liner to get to it. I've attached a 5 min youtube video that does a pretty good job of showing you where it is. Hope it helps.
