The College Honors Program is open to all LCCC students who maintain a 3.00 cumulative GPA. The program requires that students complete five or more honors level courses with a grade of B- or better to graduate with the distinction of College Honors. Students may take honors sections or complete honors projects for their five courses.The ceremony celebrated 154 undergraduate students for high academic achievement. Students, family and friends gathered in the Diamond Theater of Zoellner Arts Center on Friday, Dec. 3, for this year’s Honors Convocation recognizing seniors who earned a cumulative grade point average of 3.8 or higher out of a possible 4.0.Applicants must have at least a 3.0 GPA and have completed 20-35 credits. Once accepted, Honors College students must take at least 13 honors-level credits during their year in the program and participate in social and cultural activities. Students receive a full scholarship (at the sponsoring-district rate).
