My Micro 9 gets carried a lot, but is not my primary CC, I leave it to a "real" gun for that chore (.45 of course). BUT, my little Micro 9 now has just over 600 trouble-free rounds downrange. It was completely stripped, cleaned and lubed prior to it's first outing, has run flawlessly ever since. Looks very similar to my 1911. Push the firing pin in from the back and slide the lock plate down. Be careful when removing the lock plate that you don't launch the pin. Not sure how strong that spring is. That is the way to remove the firing pin from the Micro 9. As noted, make sure you keep a finger over the area so you don't launch the spring.
