Growth is a trap, move 4 and low initiative is what cragheart lacks. I play on the hardest difficulty and Explosive Punch is just so much better. Sentient Growth looks good, but does too little on higher difficulty. Just my opinion. Also, I always read that people don't like long rests and see them as losing a turn.
The top action does everything. I think there's one situation where Kinetic Assault is the better of the two, and that's if you're running a melee build driven by item 80 at low player count; the initiative and versatile top action are just too good for the build. But even that build wants to go back and pick up Rock Slide anyway at level 5 or 6.I have been playing as the Cragheart and have reached level 4 after 11 scenarios. I see the Cragheart like a DnD Ranger, some healing, good but not great at melee and ranged, some single target and AOE attacks, great survival. I have played every scenario with a Spellweaver and been frequently joined by a Scoundrel.If you just want to be effective without reading into the game so much you would probably be better off reading some beginner tips than Cragheart specific tips as most of what you do to be effective in this game (not taking tons of damage/not exhausting early/etc) are what will really take you far. Your "build" is much less a factor.Cragheart has a loss action attack that infuses Air, and Spellweaver's Crackling Air is a much better use of it than Cragheart's own Nature's Lift. A Stamina Potion is obviously good, too, but with the Cragheart's higher hand size, I think it is less of a priority. You could always make your recommendations of the form "A or B, plus X or Y" - in this case, for the Cragheart, * Boots of Striding or Winged Boots, plus. * Power Potion or Stamina Potion.
