I just got some CFE 223 and federal small rifle primers to start making some ammo. My problem is the CFE 223 has only been out since this January and I cant find much load data for it. Just curious if the CFE 223 would hold up to plinking ranges for 100 to 200 yards. ... My testing with it in .223 is impressive so far, and they load data shows nearly 2600fps with a 200gr Berger. It's absolutely capable of very competitive speeds and has superb temperature stability.

First, just a mention on your ss109... Check your range you want to shoot em at, a lot of ranges ban penetrator or steel jacketed bullets. And it will damage steel targets. That being said, if you cannot find loading data on 62gn bullets, I would start with data for something close, like for 65gn bullets. jmho.

On my rifles both give good accuracy but what stands out to me is the lower SD, higher velocity and I can go a little longer before cleaning.
