3 posts · Joined 2021. #1 · Oct 30, 2021. I have a 2002 Sportsman 500 HO. My current issue is no spark at all. None with turning the key or by pulling the pull start. Removing the cutoff wire doesn’t change anything. New plug, new plug cap, wire, ignition coil, tried different CDI, still no change.Apr 7, 2010 · 2006 Ranger XP EFI 700 (4x4) - no spark. Need some help with my side by side. Was running fine. Shut it off but went to start it an hour later and it would turn over but it has no spark whatsoever. Have dash lights etc when I turn the key on and I can get the fan and fuel pump to run (by checking pin outs on ECU) but no power to the coil. 800 EFI no output from fuel pump. I have a 2011 Ranger Crew 800 EFI that quit today. I pulled the fuel line off and no fuel flow (or sound) when I turn the key on. Fuel Pump fuse is good. Had a local mechanic check the Fuel Pump relay, it is also good. Pulled the pump out and checked voltage on the pump side of the connector, reads .42 volts.1999 sportsman 500 no spark. Hoping someone can point me in the right direction on where to start looking! I have no spark to the spark plug at all. I have replaced the spark plug, voltage rectifier, ignition coil, and stator. Not everything was replaced for this problem. Just the ignition coil. Rode the quad the day before and no problems at all.
