Hi. I'm new to trading futures. I have been doing so via NinjaTrader for a month now, and I was wondering if someone could answer a question about how their fees work. I'm trading a live account with real money. I don't have a license or lease. I have commissions in my account properties set to "NinjaTrader Brokerage Direct."15 Contracts. $4,500. Select. According to the "Trade Performance" window, I did 240 trades (all ES MES and NQ) and the commissions are listed at over $1100! I thought ES trades were around $1.50 or so per trade including exchange fees. $5 per trade seems excessive.
