Discovered the rollers on the back of the tail gate are in slots. Used those slots to adjust belt travel and now love my baler again.Ensure that the release arm on the bale chamber is functioning correctly. Problem: Baler chamber not compressing the bale. Check the density control system and make sure it is set correctly. Check the compression springs and make sure they are not worn out. Check the knotters and twine path for any obstructions.New Holland 630 round baler hay jams. Help. I have been baling this afternoon, big wind rows, dry 1st cutting, moving slow. About half way into baling the hay I had down with no problems. Then almost a complete bale in the baler had hay feed between the pivot roll and belts so much that it sheared the PTO shaft shear pin.The hay build up could be most of your problems with the net starting. When the hay is light, short and dry or just extemely dry the core can break up when starting a bale. The hay will fill the front of the baler interfering with the net insertion. Slow you engine speed down about 600 rpm and shift up a gear to get more material into the bale.
