Gives spread, normal, and piercing skills, Longer range on your shots skill, and sticky ammo bonus. Use Dango for resistances and try not to get hit too often. This build is best described as a glass cannon. The bone tree HBG is currently the best (as far as I know). It has high raw, and a large clip size.

The Heavy Bowgun is a ranged weapon in Monster Hunter Rise that is used for providing support to teammates from a safe distance. Low mobility, but can be enhanced by Wirebugs for dodging and quick escapes. Uses elemental ammo and can shoot from the sky. Unique Wirebug attack: Free Silkbind Glide for rushing in and dodging.The main takeaway is that you will run yourself out of ammo if you only use stickies. Slicing and Normals are your backup, you use them when the monster is KO'd. Because you're not building up KO while the monster is already recovering from a KO and especially slicing to the face will do more damage than stickies.4.
