They also should go back to having light equip weight allow you to run slightly faster. There just isn't enough benefit to justify the loss in damage absorption.I started using medium equip load and haven't had issues. Seems odd to have three weight categories though if light doesn't have any mechanical differences compared to medium. Havent tested rolls, but did test talismans out and it is absolutely not worth compared to others you could be using.

In Elden Ring even the average foot soldier has mixed patterns and I also noticed a huge difference between light and medium load outs, heavy roll is a way different story ofc. but light roll gets more i-frames and bigger distance covered, which I found made a huge difference.
