Kotor twist.

I have just bought KOTOR but it won't let me play the game. When I click play, a Steam popup appears saying KOTOR is preparing to launch, as normally, and then disappears, as if the game was going to launch. But it doesn't. It says it is running and has given me playtime (why I have 70 minutes ingame) but the game never actually launches; no sound, no tab/screen with anything about the game ...Kotor 2 didnt have a twist and its story was much better but as well kotor 2 was what made revan such a intriguing character.
