She married Bobbie Brister on Dec. 24, 1955 and he preceded her in death on July 22, 1988. She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Kay Kelly on Nov. 24, 2002; two brothers and one sister. Surviving are one son, Bob Brister of Ormond Beach, FL; three grandchildren, Jenna Kathryn Broom, Samuel Ray Broom and Mackenzie Rae Brister.
