I've taken a couple of short (300 miles in a day) trips so far, and she's a dream to ride on the hiway. IMO, a nice Voyager XII is probably a better bike than the Goldwing. Many people have well over 200,000 miles on them, it's about the same for the Goldwing. But the Voyager is lighter, and less complicated, and it is much easier to work on. I was concerned about the chain driven cam. Shifting reccomendations for the 1700 Voyager. I have seen and read several threads in here on when to shift gears on our 1700's. It seems to always be about the RPM's. I have stated in the past I am usually in 6th gear before 50 MPH and stay there most of the time.
