I was called today by Nine9 Modeling and Acting, saying that they wanted to meet face to face. I looked up some reviews and I found one and only one Yelp review saying it was a scam. I also found that at first, they charge $150 at first and an additional $40 a month. Is this a scam or is it actually a reputable agency that deserves my business?

But what I can say is, the services they provide for you are a waste of money. One person has already stated that they required a certain amount of money up front. After conducting some online research, we were impressed by the reviews and professionalism of NYLA Talent, prompting us to give them a chance. It turned out to be a great decision. Yes nine9 is a scam. They’ve changed their name a few times to disguise themselves. Most places you have to pay first are scams. I have had success with one place that required a small initial payment of like 20 bucks. But, they were reputable and the initial payment is 20 bucks (such a small amount)
