because people with the gorgon/hek will probably have multishot mods in them, and one or maybe 2 Armor Pen mods. My Gorgan has 96.8% multi shot , 50% armor pen dmg, 50% freeze dmg, 19.5% stunchance, 3.3 Puncture and 5% crit chance for my mods, and im sure there are other people with alot better mods then minePosted April 12, 2013. No. Gorgon is terrible. It's clumsy, inaccurate, and the reloading is obscene. Gorgon Wraith is a good weapon, but it's also got higher damage, faster spin up, better accuracy, great status chance, and faster reload.... And don't forget to add, that it's no longer obtainable as of now..

The Gorgon hasn't been good for 7~ years, and the Wraith for 5~ years. Prisma is still fine, but it has a lot of competition in the "large mag-many bullet-spray hose" category, and requires significant forma and rivens to get that online. Gorgon for obnoxious bosses with lots of shields who need sustained fire to go down. The key on the hek is getting reload time mods. Then it's pretty much unstoppable.
