I'm feeling that this was altered in some way, but had never seen anything like it before and after a quick search of the archives couldn't find anything there either. The note is in pretty rough shape, unfortunately.It is a 1976 $2 bill (not in the greatest condition, unfortunately) but the cut seems quite off center to me and so does the green seal over the word “two” on the front.
