I really dont understand why people have to spread nonsense.....a stock grom wont go 70, period. Ive owned 2 groms and the best you can hope for from a totally stock grom is 55-60 mph I would say and thats being generous, assuming a lightweight rider, with some wind at his back going down a hill or something lolI changed it back to the Honda 10w30. Still doesn’t make any of the noises it did, but to be honest, the engine noises ie valves chains etc sounded better with the 15w40 Rotella in it. It's got a chimera intake, kitaco clutch cover, and takagawa oil pump. Had all that since 500miles. Still pulls me to 60-65mph and gets 100mpg.

not too bad on the old grom though. i have my rebound adjuster mounted at the bottom and it's reasonable easy to get to, that being said my piggyback makes mounting the other way impossible. give the shock at least 10 hours use before commenting on it, as with anything like this there is a break in period before it performs how intended.Yeah, 50 is where it will be comfortable at.
