In late 1988, Lowell sold his controlling interest in the Gesche Funeral Home to the Vertin family, a third-generation funeral service family whose focus is on preserving and promoting funeral service in rural communities. Her life will be celebrated on Monday, December 19, 2022, at Gesche Funeral Home in Neillsville, Wisconsin. Visitation will be from 9:00 to 11:00 am with a service immediately following. Private interment will be in the Windfall Cemetery in Granton. Please don't be late and arrive brightly dressed and in style (in true Melissa fashion). The Celebrant will be Fr. Greg Michaud.
