That issue feels like you are driving on rumble strips under very slight acceleration in 50 to 70 MPH range. Hopefully the dealership can duplicate what your are experiencing and it's an easy fix. I Googled the shudder and learned this is an issue with quite a few Chevrolets including the 2nd gen Colorados. The Dealer said they would follow the Technical Service Bulletin on this issue to try to fix it: TSB Seems To Fix 8-Speed Automatic GM Transmission Problems .
