When a fully charged 12-volt battery is installed in the BBU, you will have up to 8 hours of backup power for basic voice service, including calls to 911. Note: Internet and TV service will not be available during a power outage even if a fully charged battery is installed. The BBU only provides backup power for voice service.

So on Wednesday, we had a power outage from a storm, and once we got power back none of my Fios services were online. I’ve tried rebooting the router, cycling power to the ONT, and nothing connects. Verizon says they’re not seeing power to the ONT, and can’t send a tech out til Tuesday. The only light lit up on the ONT is the PWR light.
