For thick materials, use deep cut blade in its original (black) housing. It's shorter than the fine point blade housing to allow for thicker materials. Yeah it's not working for 6mm Mylar and nor is the deep cut blade. It once worked but I don't know why it doesn't anymore. New blades, new strong grip mat.
