It goes in fine but then I’m not able to use it no matter what I do. Does anyone know why this isn’t working and if there is anything I can do or am I ♥♥♥♥♥♥.

Stuck in Gauntlet. I collected all of the Umbral Gems needed for the Gauntlet of Shar pedestal, four in total. I placed one in the Pedestal of Reckoning and attempted to go down the elevator, but when I click the button nothing happens. I have reloaded a previous save and exited the game as well.
