Building this team with Lv1 def tower was actually not that hard, but it definitely needs 2 Guard set on each Icaru if you don’t have determination runes. I looked through a few guides and built this team so it can attack 13 times before the dragon hits and 5 times after dragon hits before immunity ...here are the runes. take note Verde is currently runed for Team#2 (Tricaru). when he was in Teams#1 & #2, he was runed Vio Rev 180 SPD. he is no longer on Vio and he is also specifically runed thick now (>75k EHP) to survive dragon breath at <30% boss hp. Raoq #1, Raoq #2 and Light Homu are all Vio.I legit had the runes for my tricaru on world arena for when i finish then i was cleaning out my box and sold a slot 4 nice defense crit blade which wasn't a broken set for him and out of habit i clicked sell without seeing the popup window warning me. ... Fight rune crafting was always garbo even before that, each SSS run gives ~6.5 purple ...Of course, determ runes are a big help. the 8% per set is really helpful on lowering the rune requirement. Another small tip about determ runes. always go for a slot 1 rune. it literally can be a 5* blue determ rune. This is because u cant get defense on slot 1 so you can just go for a 5* blue with spd or accuracy.

Determination vs guard runes. 8% def for whole team Vs Self def +15% The determination 8% def is affected to whole team meaning 3 icarus total get 24%. Compared to the guard rune, guard rune only benefits to the holder and it’s just 15%. Tricaru needs defense stats to bring 3 monsters into the team up and while the effort for that is pretty easy when u have defense towers or determination sets or both involved you still gotta grind for the runes, 2a experience, and normal skill ups for it. Twins on their release date did not originally attack with only 1 twin.Fortunately, Rift Beasts are guranteed "successes" every time even if you die, and Determination runes are more valuable than Guard Runes for hitting Defense breakpoints for Tricaru. I have zero determination runes on my tricaru team. I threw a bunch of left over runes with high def%, some speed and some accuracy. Crafted 2 or 3 guard def% runes and that was it. I wouldn't say the rune requirements are low but most C2 and above players would not find them difficult.
