Unfortunately, this part is wrong, It IS a kickdown cable. The later OD transmissions, namely the 700R4 and the 200-4R DO use a throttle valve cable that operates as you describe. The TH350 still used a vacuum modulator to vary line pressure. The cable is purely kickdown. Joe Padavano.
