The ONT and router fortunately are both operational; my best guess is that they ended up reprovisioning the 10G port on the ONT so that it would pass data. Unfortunately for Fidium I used to work for a LEC & ISP, so I know what I’m talking about and I’m pleasantly persistent about getting it escalated. I hope GoNetSpeed works out for you.

The 1gig port should have been working, but it has to be activated by fidium support. I talked to 6 techs (all outsourced, no training probably), none of them understood the request. I had to fight to get a tech out to get the ONT replaced. The on-site tech said fidium support should've activated the 1gig port.

I suggest using different test servers to get a better picture of the actual speed. 6.6 is really bad and seems odd based on the high upload speed. Many ISPs on Speedtest have trouble with higher download speeds and their results vary quite a bit. I find that Starry and Comcast (believe it or not) are consistent and can handle the higher speeds.
