My DEF gauge would get stuck at 1/2 a tank for a few thousand miles and then I would get a low DEF warning and fill up. Dealer replaced the DEF tank. Currently at 1/2 tank DEF on the gauge with a box of DEF in waiting in the bed of the truck trying to see if I can burn the gauge down from 1/2 to 1/8th. Then check the connection in the engine bay.
